Ms. VanMeter is President & CEO of Intellectual Property Insurance Services Corporation (IPISC) and was co-founder in 1990.  Before this position, Ms. VanMeter was the Executive Vice President for IPISC.  Prior to IPISC, Ms. VanMeter was Vice President of Hilliard-Lyons Patent Management, Inc. (HLPM), the patent licensing subsidiary of Hilliard-Lyons Investment Banking Company in Louisville, KY.  Prior to her position with HLPM, Ms. VanMeter was the Assistant to the Chief Patent Counsel at American Air Filter Corporation. She has over 45 years of experience involving intellectual property.  Ms. VanMeter has property, casualty, and surplus lines insurance licenses and an Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and an Associate degree in Applied Sciences from the University of Louisville.
